The Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation, JAPAN (SME Support, JAPAN) is an independent administrative agency under the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. We support SMEs and regional communities in solving their problems and realizing their dreams, by providing targeted and personalized support measures.

Under the slogan of “providing close, timely and appropriate support”, we support SMEs through our nine regional head offices across Japan, with the objective of “SME development and regional promotion”.

We provide specific support in various areas including infrastructure, funding, human resources and information services, in order to assist SMEs and regional communities resolve their problems and to better respond to their needs.
